RAISING DAY Function, Delhi |

The 47th Raising Day of our Association was celebrated with enthusiasm in Delhi and Zonal Headquarters on 02-01-2014. The Main Function was organized in Doordarshan Kendra Delhi. The function was graced by the presence of Brig.(Retd.) Sh. V.A.M. Hussain, Member (P), Prasar Bharati as Chief Guest, Sh. Tripurari Sharan, DG DD as Guest of honor, Sh. S.M.Khan, DG DD News and Sh. A.K.Dixit, E.in.C. (DD). President Sh. Umesh Chandra, presided over the function while Sh. Anilkumar S., Gen.Secy. gave vote of thanks to the dignitaries for their presence. Sh. Umesh Chandra explained the history of ARTEE and the major pending issues. Member (P) announced the benevolent fund for employees working in PB. Initial Corpus will be of One Crore and Rs. 100/emp/year will be deducted from Salary. On death of an Employee Rs. 10,000 and in case of sickness Rs. 6000 will be granted from this fund. Employees may get an interest free loan of RS. 20,000 from this fund. We welcome this move by Prasar Bharati. DG DD, DG News and E.in.C. also addressed the function. Sh. Anilkumar S., thanked the Guests for sparing their valuable time. Sh. O.K.Sharma, ADG(E), NZ,Dr. Mahesh Joshi, ADG(P), and Sh. S.N.Singh, DDG(E) , DDK Delhi were also present on the occasion. Organized for the first time in such a manner, the function was a big success and a signal of ARTEE’s strength and Unity. Central Office is willing to make it a regular feature every year. The function was organized within a short span of two days and covered by DD National, DD News and telecast throughout the night of 2nd Jan 2014. Sh. A.K.Singhal, Secy.(AE) did the compering of the function. Central Office acknowledge the contribution of Sh. Gajendra Sharma, VP(AIR), Sh. Yogesh Kumar, VP(TV), Sh. Rajesh Kr. Gautam, ADl.G.S., Sh. Anoop Katiyar, Secy.(Sr.Tech/tech), Sh. L.R.Gupta, VP(NZ), Sh. S.P.Dubey, Jt.Secy.(SEA/EA) and other ARTEEians who work day and night to make this event a big success. Central Office
