After the
Meeting with CEO on 22/4/2014 Central Office is pursuing the matter in the
most sincere manner without bothering the negative criticism. The update
on ACP as per CAT Patna verdict issue is given below.
The proposal for issuing Generic Order for Generalization of ACP PATNA was
prepared by EPM Section o DG (AIR) and sent to Prasar Bharati with the
approval of DG (AIR) . Now the Proposal is in Prasar Bharati. After the
approval of Prasar Bharati it shall be sent to Hon’ble Ministry of I& B
for further approval. As per information the One time financial
implication is around 67 Crores and the annual financial implication
is around Rs. 13 Crores.
For Central Office all the issues are equal importance and the
proposals are being prepared in the order of agenda Items in the
meeting with CEO on 22/4/2014. We also appeal to all the Members to have
patience. Even after approval from various levels, things shall move only
when the proposals are prepared by DG (AIR) and processed. This is what we
are pursuing. We are trying our best in getting all three proposals sent to
the Hon’ble Ministry of I & B after the approval of DG (AIR) and
Prasar Bharati.
