ARTEE
Leadership today (19/12/12 ) had a meeting with Sh. Ashok Arora,
Consultant, Prasar Bharati , (A retired Secy. level Officer), who is
looking after the work of Transfer Policy.
Vital issues were discussed in the meeting. Issues of clauses like not
bringing back to choice posting, which are discriminatory and impractical,
also discussed. Official side seemed to have agreed on our key
points.
ARTEE also suggested that issue of tenure in the Naxal - affected
areas should be given consideration for difficult stations. Official
side conveyed that norms of Ministry of Home Affairs shall be followed.
ARTEE also suggested that existing list of categorisation of Stations
should not be disturbed and the issue of tenure in stations should be
addressed separately as done in the past. Official side asked ARTEE to
provide a comparative analysis of stations as per the existing transfer
policy, changed in New Policy and expected change in tenure in the New
Policy.
