DG (AIR) Corrigendum to Clear Confusion

            On 24/03/2014 DG (AIR) issued and unexpected order banning all Recognized Associations from visiting Sections. In case of violations even a threat of Criminal Proceedings and even de- recognition was posed. The language and contents of the order were highly objectionable. As Recognized employee welfare organizations we are duly authorized to take employee welfare causes.

         As expected all Associations opposed this un warranted order and met Brig.(Retd.) Sh. V.A.M.Hussain (Principle Advisor), Prasar Bharati on same day and asked for withdrawal or issuance of corrigendum immediately. Sh. Hussain assured to take update from DG(AIR).

      On 25/03/2014 again Associations met Sh. Hussain who asked Associations to wait for some time. On 28/03/2014 a corrigendum issued with the Signatures of DG (AIR) Sh. F. Sheharyar himself. This is welcome move by DG and Prasar Bharati. The committee mentioned in order was indeed formed on the suggestions of ARTEE in the meeting with DG (AIR) on 19^th March 2014.

Being a responsible and mature organization, we assure to maintain decorum/protocols, at the same time we preserve our right to take up justified welfare causes of our Members.
