Congratulations - Hon'ble Ministry of Law Clears the  file to keep  the Recovery in Abeyance

Central Office has been doing focused efforts to stop the Recoveries happened  due to  treating 25.02.1999 scales as an Upgradation while granting MACP.  Hon'ble Ministry  of I&B  had sent a reference to the Hon'ble Ministry of Law on the basis of the points raised by ARTEE, like verdict of the Hon'ble Supreme Court about impermissibility of Recoveries etc. Central Office has several rounds of discussion at various levels.

As per information received, the file send by the Hon'ble Ministry  of I&B  for advice to keep the Recoveries in Abeyance , is cleared by the Hon'ble Ministry of Law with positive comments and send   it  back to  Hon'ble Ministry  of I&B . Now Hon'ble Ministry  of I&B will issue Orders to keep the Recoveries in abeyance and a detailed note will be sent to DOPT for not treating 25.02.1999 scales as an Upgradation while granting MACP.

This is a step towards solution of an issue, which was not addressed during the last 15 years. We are committed to do everything to clear this sword form our heads.
