Central Budget for Prasar Bharati - Increase in Grant in Aid

In the Union  Budget Announced today, the Grant in Aid  for Prasar Bharati has been increased from Rs. 2382 Crores ( for the year 2014-15 )  to to Rs. 2869.55 Crores for the year 2015-16

It is pertinent to Mention that Salary Portion of Central Government  Employees working in Prasar Bharati on deemed deputation  has to be paid from the Grant in Aid.
