Central Office has been pursuing the issue of impracticability of Bio
Metric System for LPTs/HPTs/LRSs . It was agreed upon that a proposal
will be sent to Prasar Bharati, but no response received from Zones. ARTEE
had a meeting with E.in.C. (DD) and to remind we submitted a letter again.
E.in.C. (DD) asked ADG (E), DG DD, Sh. O.K.Sharma to call a proposal at
the earliest from Zones.
We are uploading the letter submitted to E.in.C. All Zonal bodies are
instructed to approach their Zonal ADG (E) for sending the proposal at the
earliest. On the basis of proposals sent by Zones, a consolidated proposal
will be prepared in Doordarshan Directorate and shall be sent to Prasar
Bharati for further action.
