Hearing in MA 1291/2013 in OA 757/2013 for ACP PATNA

The MA 1291/2013 in OA 757/2013 filed by Umesh Chandra & Others for ACP PATNA, came up for hearing in CAT Delhi today (07.01-2015). The Hon'ble Ministry I & B presented that they sent a letter to DOPT to delegate Powers to DG(AIR) for convening Screening committee. ARTEE Central leadership including President, Addl.GS and VP(NZ) yesterday met Sh. Yogesh Sharma, Advocate and submitted a copy of the Recent clarification dated 10.12.14  issued by DOPT about formation of Screening committee. Our Advocate argued on the basis of this letter and the  Hon'ble Court asked the Hon’ble Ministry of I & B to submit an affidavit in this regard within  two days. DG(AIR) has to convey the time frame of implementation on the next  hearing date i.e. 14/01/2015. Some other OAs for same benefit were also listed today. In today's hearing VP(TV), Addl.G.S., VP(NZ) , Joint Secy.(SEA/EA) and other office bearers were present in the Court.

It is pertinent to mention that OA 757/2013 has become the flagship Case for implementation of ACP PATNA and the issue of Similarity with Applicants of PATNA has been established through the proposal sent to Hon'ble Minister I &B by DG(AIR) in OA 757/2013 and that has become a turning point.
