The Technicians (4K) who have joined between 26/02/1999 to 05/12/2007 in
the Pay Scale of Rs. 4000-6000 4500 (pre revised) are demanding for the
Scale of Rs.4500-7500 (pre revised). Recent success of the EA (5K)
issue has strengthened the demand and has established that injustice
cannot continue for long. We are optimistic that issue will be solved but
we can not specify any time frame.
We agree that the issue should have been taken simultaneously with EA(5K),
but whatever time has elapse we cannot bring it back.
We have filed OA 1575/2015 for all Tech (4K) who are Members of ARTEE for
this demand. Government has yet to file a reply in this case.
Meanwhile, three Individuals with the support of East Zone Office of ARTEE
filed OA 350/1551/2015 and CAT has given a favorable verdict.
DG (AIR) has started exercise of collecting data. All VPs are asked to
send the data immediately so that the financial implications may be
calculated at the earliest.
We appeal all Tech (4K) to don’t try to put undue pressure on Central
Ofice, as the issue is on our top priority.
