Progress of Implementation of Tech vs LA & Its impact on other Cadres.

As per information Prasar Bharati has forwarded the Representations of both Associations to Ministry of I & B to seek the opinion. As told that they are waiting for the outcome of Review Petition listed on 1st Mar 2013. We are regularly following up the case and will do everything that delay tactics are not adapted in this issue.
 
Meanwhile, We have received a flurry of queries about its impact on other Cadres. I mention few of them to clear the doubts in the minds of our Members.

Impact on Technicians Working in Scale of Pre revised scale of Rs. 4000 : Immediately no impact but when One Cadre One Pay issue will be decided our Technicians recruited after 25/02/1999 and working in the scale of Rs. 4000 will also be benefited by this decision also.

Impact on EA(5K) : It will strengthen the cause of EA recruited after 25/02/1999 working in pre revised scale of Rs. 5000-8000 because in the judgement Hon’ble Supreme Court has accepted that scales were granted w.e.f. 01/01/1996.

EA and SEA Merger in Grade pay 4200 : This verdict will help in folding the sinister plan of Management Merging EA and SEA in G.P. 4200 by downgrading them and placing the extra amount in personal pay.
