NFADE Met Secretary, Ministry of I & B

Representative of NFADE had a meeting with Smt. Sushma Singh, Secretary, Ministry of I & B on 17.10.2008 and discussed various issues related with Prasar Bharati and Employees. Regarding the order from Prasar Bharati keeping the Recruitments/Appointments in abeyance, Secretary informed that Ministry has neither issued any instructions nor was consulted before issue of any such order by CEO. We were advised to approach CEO at this issue. Regarding the issue of retention of Employees on deemed deputation, it was informed that Hon'ble GOM in its meeting held on 27-09-2008, decided to retain Employees recruited upto 05-10-2007 as Central Govt. Employees on deemed deputation to Prasar Bharati, with all facilities as central Govt. employees. The Employees recruited after 05-10-2007 will be the Employees of Prasar Bharati.
