As third step of its 6th Phase of Agitation NFADE organized one day symbolic hunger strike on 19th Jan 2010 on emphasize a single point demand “Repeal Prasar Bharati Act”. The lunch hour gate meeting was attended by more than 300 strong gathering and addressed by number of leaders of constituent Associations including Sh. V.N.Jha, Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Vice Chairmen, Sh. P.K.Singh, President ADEA, Sh. Kulbhushan Bhatia, Secy. Gen. of  NFADE.

All leaders stressed the need to strengthen and resolve to take the agitation to any extent till the demand is fulfilled. It is also told that efforts are taking place at some segments to divert the demand of NFADE by replacing the present board members of Prasar Bharati. Leaders also warned that this present agitation is not against present board and NFADE will not accept replacing the board and the agitation will not be stopped till Prasar Bharati Act is not repealed.

Sh. Chandrashekhar , National Convener of  Announcers Association also addressed the gathering. Comparing was done by Sh. Umesh Chandra, Exec. Member of  NFADE.

The gathering also observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to and to pay homage to Comrade Jyoti Basu who took his heavenly abroad on 17th Jan 2010..
