A "Free Medical Check-Up Camp" was organized by ARTEE (EZ) at DDK KOLKATA premises, an association with PEERLESS HOSPITAL & Nicholus Piramal Ltd.At least 25 eminent doctors from different disciplines were attended the camp. Wholehearted participation was observed from AIR & DOORDARSHAN Kolkata, CE Office Kolkata, and NFDC & CCW in this camp. More than 300 staff members were benefited in the respective field of Medicine, Cardiology, and Orthopedics & Diabetology. Staff members carried out also the blood pressure, sugar & ECG test free of cost. Apart from this a new test was done called " ARTERIAL STENOSIS" to measure the vascular profile of the body, which was never done in Kolkata before, it was supported by Nicholus Piramal India Ltd. with the help of Dr. Soumitra Kumar (MD DM) a reputed cardiologist. Amongst the distinguished guest was Sr. Cardiologist Dr.Anjan Lall Dutta. The camp was inaugurated by the Managing Director of PEERLESS Hospital Brigadier. Dr. A.K.Sanyal, Inspector General of Police (Intelligence) Kolkata Sri. Sandeep Mukhopadhaya & Director of DDK Kolkata. Amongst our ARTEE leadership Sri. J.P.Sengupta (VP-EZ) & Sri. J. Sengupta (Ex- Gen Sec) was present in the camp to encourage the volunteers & ARTEE members. ARTEE (EZ) committee already decided to organize similar type of camp in near future in the other Major Kendras also for general awareness of health amongst the members. ARTEE (EZ) Committee has also decided to introduce the other discipline such as Pediatrics, Neurology & Oncology in next camp.
