The term of the present CWC is coming to an end on 07-08-2005. Agitational programme has already been declared by NFADE to put pressure on the Government to ensure that the option for Prasar Bharati be sought from the employees only after financial viability of Prasar Bharati is assured. Association is participating actively in formulating Recruitment Rules & Service Conditions for Prasar Bharati, in view of the latest Supreme Court directive. Management is unilaterally making efforts to transfer the staff to Prasar Bharati. NFADE has taken up the agitational program together with legal options on the subject and ARTEE is an important constituent of NFADE. CWC meetings of ARTEE were held in Delhi on 24th March 2005 and 06th April 2005 to take stock of the latest situation. CWC also accepted the proposal of ARTEE South Zone to host the National Convention in the Month of August in Chennai and opined to discuss these very important issues in the National Convention. CWC authorized the President to extend the term of the present Central Working Committee.
Accordingly, exercising the emergency powers of the President under article 31 of the Rules & Regulations of this Association (ARTEE), the term of the present CWC is hereby extended for six months i.e. up to 07/02/2006.
