ARTEE protested against Reversion of Grade Pays |
Troubled by the pressure mounted by ARTEE to implement verdict of Hon’ble Delhi High Court to grant scale of Rs. 6500-10500 w.e.f. 25/02/1999 DG Doordarshan issued order on 4th Nov 2010 to upgrade Grade Pays of various Cares including EA(5K) and Sr.Tech(5K) as DD is party whose appeal is rejected by Hon’ble Delhi High Court. ARTEE welcomed the decision with a mention of a confusion about wrongly mentioning Employees prior to 25/02/1999 as “Employees Opted for Prasar Bharati”. But to our surprise DD itself denied its order by issuing another order on 7th Nov 2010 and reverting the G.P.s granted earlier. It is an Anti Employee act and ARTEE condemn it. We have already delivered very strong letter to DG DD with a threat to launch an Agitation. This is another example of erratic and illogical functioning of DG Doordarshan. ARTEE always work for the welfare of all cadres from Helper to AE without any prejudice and preoccupation. and will continue to do so. |
