ARTEE has been demanding the implementation of Grade Pay Rs.5400/- for AEs of AIR &Doordarshan. After ensuring the proposal reached Ministry of I&B we had meeting with officials of Ministry including Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary. After the meeting Ministry agreed to consider the proposal and sought some clarification including financial implication from the Directorate. After vigorous follow up from this Association, now the O/O DG,AIR forwarded the reply to the Ministry. Association again approched the Ministry with the following letter in support of the proposal.
